Currensea's website had done its job, but the business had moved on and the website hadn't. Competitor sites had evolved. They wanted a refresh - not just a theme, or a template, a bespoke rebuild that reflected where the company had actually got to that worked with both a legacy CRM and a new platform.
What we walked into
Every redesign carries the same risk, and anyone about to commission one already knows it. You spend the money, the site looks better, and the numbers go backwards.
It happens. A rebuild changes the navigation, moves the calls to action, restructures the pages - and quietly removes the things that were doing the converting. You end up with a website you're proud of and a pipeline that's worse than the one you had.
So the job wasn't to deliver a “nicer looking” website. It was to work out what was already earning its keep, protect that, and fix everything around it.

We've worked with Maccs Digital at Currensea and they've been a pleasure to work with. They've followed our brief right down to the pixel and ensured all functionality works soundly. All feedback is taken on board and applied swiftly, and they keep me well in the loop on progress. I look forward to maintaining our partnership to keep growing our presence online.
